Fund Withdrawals: What are they?

Fund withdrawals or disbursements, as we call them, are the transfer of cleared investments to a company's bank account. Often times entrepreneurs reinvest raised funds back into a campaign for marketing, so keep your marketing goals in mind when selecting a package.

Basic: Up to two transfer of funds. One in the middle of a campaign and one at the end. 

Premium: Up to one transfer of funds per month.

Platinum: up to two transfers of funds per month.

Support: What are the differences?

StartEngine offers three support structures, one requires a company to onboard while the others receive a dedicated StartEngine support member to onboard for them and hold their hand throughout the process.

Basic: Email Support. Companies signed up for Basic do not receive a dedicated StartEngine Representative.

Premium: Each company will receive a dedicated team of experts to help with all phases of their campaign, from onboarding to marketing an effective raise.

Platinum: Each platinum company will work closely with a StartEngine representative to onboard, market, and will receive help laying out a custom raise structure and purchase agreement. Disclaimer: This only applies to Reg CF raises.

SEC Filing: What is it?

The SEC requires every Reg CF company raising funds file a Form-C. StartEngine takes care of the tricky stuff and files the Form-C for every Reg CF company that launches on StartEngine, so companies can focus on what matters.

Purchase Agreement: What is it?

A Purchase Agreement or Subscription Agreement is a promise by the company to sell a given number of shares to an investor at a certain price, and an agreement by the investor to pay that price.

Basic: Required to use StartEngine's Standard Purchase Agreement.

Premium: Required to use StartEngine's Standard Purchase Agreement.

Platinum: May customize a purchase agreement and set custom terms with investors. Note: StartEngine reviews agreements and reserves the right to deny any agreement without reason.

Campaign Page Creation: What is it?

To start, a campaign page is the landing page investors see when deciding on whether or not to invest in a company's raise (See here). Companies that pay for packages with Campaign Page Design included receive will receive a customized campaign page designed by StartEngine's creative team.

Basic: Receives no campaign page design, they design and build their own using StartEngine's custom-built campaign page builder.

Premium: Receive a custom campaign page design and built by the StartEngine creative team. This includes copy, design, layout, and campaign page best practices.

Platinum: Receives the same design support as Premium.

Priority Review: What is it?

Once a company has all of the required documentation ready they may submit for compliance review. StartEngine is constantly launching companies but premium and platinum companies get to skip the lines.

Basic: Receives no priority and is added the back of the review list upon submission.

Premium: Can expect to receive feedback or be cleared within 48 hours of submission for review.

Platinum: Can expect to receive feedback or be cleared within 24 hours of submission for review.

Cryptocurrency Investments: What are they?

For select packages, StartEngine can enable cryptocurrency. This gives crypto, blockchain, and standard companies access to investors looking to invest via Bitcoin & Ethereum.

Basic: Does not have the option to accept cryptocurrency investments.

Premium: May accept cryptocurrency investments upon request.

Platinum: May accept cryptocurrency investments upon request.
